structure below) and also consider what financial support will be
available. Needy Tanzanian students who secure admission to pursue
academic programmes may seek loans from the Higher Education Students’
Loan Board (HESLB) in Tanzania to meet at least part of the costs of
their education. Loan application forms can be collected at the Boards
Offices located at Tirdo Complex, Kimweri Road, Msasani, P.O. Box 76068, DAR ES SALAAM, at
the nearest Post Office, or in some cases, at the office of the Deans
of Students of all Higher Education Institutions in Tanzania. Guidelines
and criteria for granting student loans can be obtained from HESLB
website.
It is important that candidates apply for loans at the same time they seek admission to University.

Normally, a student will not be allowed to attend classes at the
University unless the required fees have been paid. Failure to pay the
fees within the specified period will result in the withdrawal of
registration. Fees paid will not be refunded in case a student withdraws
or leaves the University.
Foreign
students are expected to pay their fees in convertible currency. They
are also required to comply with immigration regulations. Besides entry
visa acquired from the country of departure, they are also required to

produce a reliable evidence of sponsorship; otherwise they will be
expected to pay full tuition and other University fees for the full year
by the beginning of the Semester before they can be permitted to use
